It was finally the weekend and Heather had gotten up about eleven. Getting up she put on a white tank top black baggy shorts with black convers. Looking in the mirror she shrugged seeing how plain she looked. That didn't matter to her right now. Grabbing her car keys she headed off to the parking lot got into her car and drove off.
Heather began to think where she would go and what to do. With a smile she saw a park and parked in the parking lot. Grabbing her music notepad she walked to a bench and began to write. Heather found parts a good place to write songs or even poems.
As she tried to write all she could think about was what happened the other night. The kiss that Danny and her self shared. That memory kept playing and playing. Closing her eyes she was trying to get it to stop playing. There was no way she wanted her hopes to high up on this one.

Danny hadn't slept that entire night. He'd tossed and turned, finally falling asleep at four only to wake up at six. Then he got up, got dressed, and left the dorm to see what he could find to amuse himself.
He went for a walk that ended up at a local park. He watched as a man and his son flew one of those little motorized airplanes over the lake and then sat on a bench. Before too long his chin rested down on his chest and he was once against asleep.
Later, the pretty Singing teacher sat on a park bench not far off from him...

Heather was yawning as she looked back at her music notes. She was going to write something by the time she had to head back to the dorms. Tapping her pencil on the notepad she began to sing in her head things that would work with the notes. Heather needed something to show her class and she had been working on this for about a week now.
Hearing her tummy growl she looked at her watch to see it was lunch time. But she figured this was the only way to get something done. So she sat there waiting till she can find lyrics.

Feeling something tickle his nose, Danny sniffed and his eyes opened. The sun was higher in the sky and he felt stiff. With a grunt he sat up and looked around. He wondered how long he'd slept and checked his wrist watch. Apparently he couldn't sleep in his bed but he could do a good four hours on a park bench. That was pathetic.
Getting up, he yawned and stretched before casually looking over towards a nearby bench that had been empty when he first got there. Now a woman sat upon it and he knew who it was instantly.
Making an 'Oh crap!' face he looked around for somewhere to hide, turning his back to her he started to walk in the opposite direction.
He was still completely embarrassed about what had happened the last time they saw each other...

Heather had saw someone or something move around. With a tilt of her head she shook her head. Soon she began to think why he was hiding. Was it because of what happened the other night. With a small sad face she held her breath and put a smile.
"Danny please come out." Heather said in a sweet voice. Heather tried to look happy as if she didn't remember the other night hoping it would work.

Dannys head pokes from around a tree and inwardly he kicked himself feeling very foolish. He shoved his pockets into his hands and walked towards her.
"Oh hello Heather. I didn't know you were hear. Nice day isn't it?" He asked, stopping to stand next to her.
He looked out towards the lake and felt his stomach grumble. He was getting hungry. Maybe he'd go somewhere and get coffee and doughnuts...

"Nice day? Yes I guess it is." Looking at him she looked down at her notepad. "What are you doing out here?" Heather wanted to see if he would be okay as they started to talk. Maybe he would forget about what happened.
"You seem hungry. You want to go grab lunch?" Heather was getting hungry she figured that going to grab lunch would be a great idea. "I know a good dinner in this town if you would like its only a couple blocks away from here."

Danny decided not to lie to her. "I um. I couldn't sleep so I went for a walk this morning. And then I ended up sleeping on that bench over there." He shrugged in the direction of the bench before turning back to look at her.
"Yeah I was thinking about getting something, although it would be breakfast for me. I guess I slept for a long time." He smiled a little at her, "What are you doing? Writing?"

Heather looked at him. "I guess a walk always gets people tired." Heather wouldn't want to know why he couldn't sleep. Okay so she did but she wouldn't ask him. There was no way she could ask it would be to weird.
"this place serves a lot of things breakfast all day lunch and dinner." Getting up she nodded. "Yeah trying to write a song but its not going to good. I guess I don't know what to write about." Heather didn't lose her talent just it was hard to write something with out it sounding like another song.

Danny held his hand out to her, smiling as he helped her up. "I know how that is, although personally I can't write anything without being in front of a piano. And yeah food in general sounds good right now. And some coffee maybe. I dont know what's wrong with me. I just havent been sleeping well lately."
He started to stroll beside her, thinking about what had happened the last time they were together.
"Hey Heather I wanted to say sorry again for what happened... I was completely out of line and... it wont happen again..."

Heather looked at him. "Yeah I guess i just need to take a break on this. Maybe let my students have another week. I would only be fair. Coffee does sound alright right now with some actual food. Not sleeping? Hmmm..is there any thing on your chest? That could be a reason why you don't sleep well." She took his hand and got up with a smile. "Thank you for the help."
Heather began to lead the way to the diner she had found when she started to work at this place.
"its fine. You don't have to be sorry. It takes two to do what happened the other night." Heather said with a smile.

Danny nodded and smiled, glad that they could put that behind them now. He walked with his hands in his pockets, strolling somewhat beside the pretty girl. "So...um... how's life?" He asked, trying to think of something to say as they walked. This was kind of strange, were they going as just friends or was this a date? Then he had to stop himself. They were just friends of course. Heather didn't seem to have any interest in being more than that.

Heather looked at him and shrugged. "Life its alright. You know classes." Heather really hated not being in a class room teaching. It was the only way to keep busy and keep her mind out of being lonely. "Hows life for you?" As they got closer Heather opened the door for him so he could go in. Once the door had opened it smelt really good. "So Danny after the other night I'm guessing you don't have a girlfriend?"

Danny hurried forward to grab the door and opening it for her. He nodded, understanding that. He enjoyed classes alright but it wasn't his favorite thing. "Mostly i'm just trying to crank out another masterpiece, but i'm having difficulty these days. I guess my muse is running low or something."
He followed her inside and the smell made his stomach growl. It smelled great in there. He looked at Heather again in surprise. She was very forward.
"No I don't." He admitted.

Heather nodded to what he said. "Maybe that is why you can't sleep. You want to get your music but you don't have enough muse." Heather smiled when someone showed them to a table. It was next to a window and handed them two menus. Then she walked off.
Heather looked at him kinda surprised. "Figure a guy like you would have one."
She looked at the menu and wasn't sure what to eat. "What would you like?"
