Heather had done eating had done looking at the songs. Getting up she smiled and picked up the biggest container. Grabbing that and her folders she walked to the dorms. It was funny the teacher dorms were with the students just some where at the end in the middle and at the begging of the hall.
Finding his room she smiled. Knocking on it hard she hoped he would answer the door. Heather hoped this wouldn't be a stupid thing to do. But a good idea instead of a stupid idea. Holding the container on top of the folders she hoped he would answer.
As she waited for him she waved to a few of her students who had said hey. She loved teaching high school and college students. It made things easy for her for some reason. Looking at the door she stood there with a smile waiting for him.

The sound of music came from behind the door. Danny was at his piano, playing out the stress of the day, getting into the music and loosing himself. The window was open and dusk had come. It was beautiful. Danny appreciated nature in all its loveliness.
When a knock rapped at the door the notes on the keyboard went sour as he pounded them in slight frustration. Who was bothering him now?
Getting up, he wore nothing but his slacks and white wife beater. It was hot and the air conditioning wasn't on, thus the open window.
Walking to the door, he opened it, ready to frown and grumble at whoever was behind it. When he saw who it was he stopped and blinked.
Strands of his perfectly combed back hair fell forward into his face and he raised his eyebrows again in surprise (a common expression when around this woman.)
"Hello...er... Heather." He said, wondering what she was doing there.

As Heather was waiting she could hear music. Now she felt stupid he was playing the piano and she had came and knocked on his door interrupting him. As she waited she hope he didn't get to mad at her about coming by even if he did tell her not to bring him any thing.
"Hey Danny. I know you told me not to but I couldn't help it." She held out the food at him and smiled. "I hope I didn't interrupted you. If I did I'm really sorry that I did." She stood there looking at him wondering what he was going to say. She just hoped that he didn't turn her away that he would take the food and like it.

Danny didn't know what to make of this woman. It was kind of uncomfortable, but he had a feeling she wasn't bringing him food because she wanted anything from him. She just wanted to share. It was sort of nice. He looked down at the platter and with a sigh he took it.
"Would you like to come in?" He asked, stepping back to open the door for her. The little area was neat and clean, everything in its place. But it was comfortable too.
He indicated the couch before he sat down in his computer desk chair, popped the lid off off the container, and picked up a plastic fork to start eating. He had been pretty hungry.
What he tasted was absolutely delicious. He quickly took another bight and his eyes got wide as he looked over at Heather. "This is really good." He said after he swallowed.

Seeing that he took it she smiled at him. If she could she would be clapping that he did take it. Only thing was she hoped he liked the food. Some people did others didn't it was either u did or didn't. With a small nod she walked in and took off her shoes and left them in a corner with her folder. With a smile she was able to see some of his room and saw it was really clean.
Heather sat down on the couch and smile as he began to eat. "Thanks I'm glad you like it. I cook almost every night. If I don't it was only because I was busy. If you ever want some kind of dish you can ask and I'll try to cook it." Heather went quiet knowing she was probably talking a lot again.
~Might have to get my sisters help for this.~ Heather looked at him and smiled wondering what her sister would do right now if she was with Robert.
"I have some movies in my room. If you wanted to one day we can watch something. Just hang out you know. Something fun to do it would be relaxing in a way." Heather smiled at him "I might seem really stupid to you right now."
Normally she was this punk out cool person and now she was acting stupid like a student having a stupid crush on the teacher.

Danny stared at her over the meal as he continued to chow down. He seemed to consider for a moment as he chewed, his eyes looking downward and shifting from left to right. He'd never been approached to abruptly like this by a woman. He was kind of awkward. But even so Heather was... cool? Maybe that was the right word. He supposed it was probably a good idea to break out of his shell and do some new things with new people.
"Sure." He said, nodding before going back to eating.

Heather hated this she was twenty six. She should be able to act like an adult about this hell her younger sister was better then this for she hoped. She began to play with her short hair trying to calm down. How could one person make her this way she would never understand. With a smile she was glad he said sure.
"that's cool. Really cool. Whatever movie you want to watch it would be cool." Heather said with a smile. "This will be fun." Heather wasn't sure what to do now. "So could you play something on the piano. I mean something I could hear."

Heathers words hung in the air and that made them all the more awkward. Danny just kind of studied her for a moment, not really knowing what to make of the woman. She was acting sort of like one of his students, but she couldn't be younger than twenty-five.
Finally he nodded as he chewed up the last bight and swallowed. "Eh. So that's why you're giving me free food." He said with a smirk and wink. In any case he stood and walked over to the piano.
"I'll play a little bit of one of my favorite composers. He's a modern guy in L.A." He looked over at her, "You've probably not heard of Eddie Thompson though." He sat down at the keyboard, running his fingers up and down in a quick scale before beginning the song.
It was a jazzy kind of sound but soulful as well. He liked the way it slowed and sped up giving a real feel for city life. His eyes closed as Danny didn't need the music. He could play this by heart...

Heather looked down. "I must sound stupid right now. Like a student from school. I could just leave and just talk to you when I see." Heather never felt like this before. She liked him a lot had been when she first started working here.
Hearing he was going to play something she smiled. "Yup I give you food you play for me." Heather said with a smirk. "I figured you would want something good to eat so I brought this for you thats all." She began to think for a moment. "I heard of him but i dont' think i heard any of his songs." As he began to play Heather smiled on how good he was. "Wow I never heard something like this before your really good."

Dan opened his eyes and smiled softly but did not look over at her. Instead he rolled back a little and swayed to the cool music, letting it fill up the small space of his dorm. His neighbores probably didn't appreciate the sound when it was late but so far no one complained. He played on and on, well into ten minutes. He didn't respond to her, refusing to stop until the music was finished.
He rarely stopped until the music was finished. It was like interrupting a preacher during his sermon. It simply wasn't done.

Heather looked at him as he kept playing. Sitting there she couldn't help but smile when he just kept playing. Looking at the time she was shocked he was still playing. Getting up she placed her hand on his shoulder. As he kept playing she smiled looking at his fingers. It was getting late and the students around were probably getting mad. "Danny its getting late the students are trying to get to sleep. It might be a good idea if you stopped."
She hoped this wouldn't get him mad and piss him off. That was the last thing she wanted to do was to piss him off.

Danny stopped slowly on an odd cord. His eyes stared ahead of him. That was strange. Why had he stopped? Then he felt her hands on him and he came out of the strange trance he went into every time he delve down deep into the music. His head tilted to turn and look up at her face, smiling down on him before he nodded and took in a deep breath.
"Yeah... yeah I guess you're right." He cleared his throat and then carefully put the cover over the keys. It was unlikely they'd stay covered. He usually couldn't sleep at night and so returned to pound them later on.
Putting one of his hands atop of of hers he patted it before standing and turning around to face her and looked down at Heather. She was a very pretty girl, even with the pink hair and nose ring. He blinked a couple of times, not really sure what to say.

Heather was worried about him how quiet he was. "Danny are you okay?" Heather asked. Never have she saw someone do this before. Seeing his hand on top of hers she looked at him in the eyes. His eyes always looked like they some kind of stories to them. But she new better then to ask about those kind of things to a person.
"I guess I should go. I don't want to keep you up at all." Heather really didn't want to leave but new she had to. How much she wish she could get to know him more. Who he really was.

Danny didn't know what it was about her that made his blood pump. But there was something in the way her hands on him made him feel or the way she was looking at him that just... felt.. different. Like the first taste of something cold on a hot summer day.
He continued to stare at her for a moment before he looked at the door. "Yeah... um. You're right." He was starting to sound like a broken record he knew, and he headed for the door to open it for her, but quickly rushed to his desk to retrieve her tupperware.
"Thanks again for the food. It really was good." He said, offering it to her.

Heather was worried about him. How he was acting never have she saw this before. "I'm not just a singer Danny I'm also a good listener if you ever want to talk." Heather followed him to the door and wondered why he ran back till she saw her tupperware and smiled. "Thanks."
Before she left she gave him a hug and grabbed her other things. "I'll see you tomorrow. Around I hope." Heather didn't want to leave but she new they both had classes they needed to go to and she didn't feel like playing sick.
